| India is big and so is the traffic in our busy cities. As a part of several seva activities, the Saroornagar zone has taken up a creative effort to ensure road safety. Due to increasing number of road accidents in the residential colonies and at other places like schools, road diversions, cross roads etc., the saroornagar samithi with its sevadal members has taken up initiatives to ensure road saftey in the area. The samithi sevadal along with youth members started the activity by taking up painting of speed breakers in the area as the first step to address the problem in the all the localities of saroornagar samithi. The starting point was at the mandir, Sri Satya Sai Seva Sudha. |

| In this regard, the sevedal members have conducted some preliminary traverses in the housing colonies and other major accident prone areas under saroornagar samithi jurisdiction and selected 9 areas as target areas to be addressed on priority. |

| On every Saturday night (from 09.05.09) some of the selected samithi and youth members gather at night 10PM at the mandir to complete nearly 4 to 5 speed breakers painting on that particular day. |

| Thus by grace of our beloved Bhagwan they have begun this activity on 09.05.09 and covered nearly 4 speed breakers successfully in the first phase of the activity. |

| This is just a beginning; our Sathya Sai Seva Samithis could stretch to any strata of society to lend hand and to clean humanity of its sorrows. We pray that this activity may soon spread across the nation to normalize the road safety situations. |
